15 Month Well Visit
We went to the doctor this morning for Morgan’s 15 month check-up. (We were a little behind schedule, 15 months was actually Sept 27.)
- Weight: 21 lbs (20th percentile)
- Height: 32.5 inches (95th percentile)
- Head: 19.25 inches (off the charts)
She got her seasonal flu shot and a vaccination. We ended up bringing her home from daycare a little early today with a bit of a fever, probably related to the vaccination. Hope she feels better tomorrow.
The doctor asked us if she was walking, talking, climbing stairs (not walking up stairs, but climbing), putting things in containers, pointing to body parts, and understanding words that she wasn’t able to say yet. The answer to all those questions is a solid yes.
We said she knew about half a dozen words (she regularly uses 8 ) and he seemed pretty impressed. We later read on the sheet he gave us that the normal range for her age is 2-6. That got us to thinking what the words actually were. Here’s what we came up with: bye-bye, uh-oh, up, down, ball, ow-ie, mine, and open.
