Drinking from an open cup and opinions about songs

As a side note, we moved Morgan from her high chair to a booster seat at the table about a month ago.  We never had a ‘traditional’ high chair, so this just entailed taking the tray off her seat and pushing her up to the table.  She barely noticed.

We have been working on drinking from an open cup with her at home.  They started working on it last Monday at daycare, in preparation for her move to the Toddler Twos room (end of March/beginning of April).  She seems to have caught on.  She doesn’t spill while drinking very much and she can walk around with an open cup.  She inadvertently knocks the cup over once every other meal or so, but other than that, no problems.

And she has developed some serious opinions about music.  She likes “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” (aka E-I-E-I-O), “Baa, Baa Black Sheep,” and “The Wheels on the Bus.”  So now when listening to music she’ll blurt out “baa baa sheep!” or “e-e-o!” or “bus!” asking you to change the song.  She’ll often listen to a song for 30 seconds or so before asking you to change to another one of the three in the current rotation.
